L’Identité Numérique La Poste (LINLP) is a solution that enables the secure verification and authentication of a user’s identity online.

It allows a partner service to:

How it works

LINLP is based on strong two-factor authentication:

The standard journey is as follows:

  1. The user clicks on “Sign in with L’Identité Numérique”
  2. They are redirected to the identification screen to enter their phone number
  3. They receive an authentication request on their smartphone
  4. They confirm using their secret code or biometrics
  5. They are redirected back to the partner service

💡 The partner never manages user credentials or passwords.
